I read today’s post with much interest as Linda and I have probably taken a dozen vacations to Italy over the past 20 years, mostly to Umbria and Tuscany. Italy is our favorite “go to” place in the world. We locate and rent apartments through VRBO for our 2-4 week vacations. I have gone so far as to arrange trips for friends and family on occasion, although our most recent trip to Italy (2023) is likely the last time I act as a “travel agent.” I’m getting too old to spend so much time setting up the travel, accommodations, and sight-seeing! Anyway, keep the stories about Italy coming, please.
